5 years agoThe chicken teriyaki is AMAZING. Honestly, the best I have ever had in my entire life. The sauce mixed with the rice is also delicious. Love the salad, so I always get double salad instead of the noodles for the side. Highly recommend!! Also run by a lovely family. Unfortunately, not in the area anymore, but I still think about this place. I’m coming back when I’m back in Michigan!!

6 years agoFamily-run neighborhood restaurant. Proprietors are Japanese. Good and tasty food. Reasonable prices. Generous portions. Service is good but a little slow even at lunch time. Tabletops and floor could be a bit cleaner. Overall, worth patronizing.

6 years agoBest sushi in town! The cuts of fish were so delicious and every roll was so well prepared. The gentleman (owner?) who took care of us was very friendly and made extra things for us to try. We had a wonderful experience here and I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're a sushi fan!

6 years agoSanka Tei is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy sushi and rolls. The chef, Mr.Choi is very skillful sushi man! I love his sashimi and sushi. He is even good at food decorating lol. I've tried Korean style hot noodle soup(called Kalguksoo) as well and it was surprising! I'll definitely visit here again!

7 years agoIt's a little hard to find in the shopping center, the sign isn't clear. I got the lunch special, California Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll. Both good and it wasn't a long wait.

Edited 9 years agoMy favorite my place of all time! Not only does it serve the best sushi in MI but also has an exquisite variety of Japanese and some Korean foods! Can't stress how yummy and authentic this place is; and the chef is super kind, always gives complimentary rolls! Prices are very reasonable, quantities are very generous, and it seems as if you get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended place!

10 years agoSanka Tea is a wonderful experience. The people there are more than pleasant and generous. The food is always as good, and the portions are great for the price. Their sushi is incredible, plus the curry is to die for. I've made Sanka Tea a regular spot for me and friends to order from. Any time you can make an excuse to order from here I would.
